Imagine a weekend where the noise of adulthood fades away, allowing you to step back into the carefree world of childhood. Remember the magic of summer camp? Or perhaps you never experienced it, but you can picture the thrill of arriving with just a backpack, flashlight, and pillow, knowing that everything else you needed was already there.
Think of your favorite games, delicious food, and a circle of people eager to connect. Camp was a place of pure joy, where you could truly be yourself.
Now, we invite you to relive that magic or experience it for the first time.
Life today is more complex, filled with responsibilities and expectations that can weigh you down. Many of us carry childhood wounds that affect how we meet our needs and set our boundaries.
This retreat offers you a chance to pause, reconnect, and heal those hidden parts of yourself. It's your opportunity to play, explore, and rediscover your wild spirit.
Let us guide you through this transformation. Step into the forest, sleep under the stars, and let the magic of camp show you what it truly means toDivider live.
While our Wild Awakening Inner Child Healing Retreat offers transformative experiences for many, it’s important to recognize that it may not be suitable for everyone. Here are some individuals who might want to reconsider attending:
If someone is not open to exploring their past or engaging in emotional work, they may find the retreat challenging or unproductive. A willingness to delve into one’s inner world is essential for benefiting from the experience.
The retreat involves group activities and sharing experiences with others. Individuals who feel uncomfortable in group settings or struggle with social interactions may find it difficult to fully engage and benefit from the experience.
Those with specific physical health issues that prevent participation in activities like walking on uneven ground, climbing stairs, or hiking should consult with a healthcare provider before attending. The retreat's activities are designed to be inclusive, but personal limitations should be considered.

Which airport do I fly into?
Medford, Oregon is the closest airport to the treesort and it is about 1.5 hours away
Is transportation provided between the airport and the retreat location?
Yes! When you register, you can add a roundtrip airport transfer for free.
Where is this magical treesort?
Great Question! Out'n'About Treehouse Treesort is located at 300 Page Creek Road, Cave Junction, Oregon 97523.
Are flight costs included?
Flights are the registrants responsibility. Once you get to camp, everything is included!
Will I be sharing a treehouse?
That depends, do you want to share a treehouse? Sharing a treehouse will be more cost effective for you. If you prefer non-interrupted sleep, we can set you up with your very own treehouse. Most treehouses accommodate 2 -3 participants, and will be assigned based on gender.
Can I bring my best friend/partner/spouse?
Absolutely! Groups of 2-5 who register together will have their own private treehouse! Please make sure when you register to specify who you would like to share a treehouse with and we will make sure to put you together.
Is there electricity/wifi/internet in the treehouses?
Every treehouse has electricity and outlets, so you can run your cpap or charge your electronics.
Wifi is available in the main lodge, and cell reception is spotty depending on your cell phone carrier. We hope that this retreat can be a time to disconnect from adult responsibilities and get back to simpler times.
What is the bathroom situation?
This will vary depending on the treehouse. Upon registering, please specify if you would like a full, half or detached bathroom in your treehouse. The detached bath houses are 30-120 feet away from the treehouses, are private (one person at a time), have free hot showers, and are available to all participants.
I have some dietary concerns - will there be any accommodations?
Absolutely! Upon registration, please inform us about any medical concerns and dietary restrictions/preferences. Our chefs are excited to meet all your food needs!
Something has happened and I can't come, can I get a refund?
We highly recommend getting travel insurance because unexpected things do occur. Payments made towards the retreat are non-refundable.
What should I bring?
Besides the obviously healthy and adventurous attitude you already have (or you wouldn’t get this far), please bring a good sense of humor and whatever normal travel gear you might usually bring, i.e.; comfy clothing and athletic footwear for both warm and cool weather, rain gear, toiletries and accruements (like a flashlight, camera, books) etc.
What is your policy on smoking, alcohol and drugs?
There is a designated smoking area for those who need it - we will be in a luscious forest and we are very mindful to keep it in its natural, beautiful state. (aka, we don't want to start any fires), plus we are being mindful of participants allergies/medical concerns.
Alcohol/drug use - This retreat is about nurturing your bodies and soul and connecting with the deeper parts within you. Alcohol and substances can really hinder this process so there won't be any drinking. Plus some of these treehouses are mighty high and for liability reasons, there won't be any alcohol or drug use. If we believe a participant is under the influence, we will kindly ask them to leave and there won't be a refund.
You mentioned there is a therapy component to this retreat, will I be able to submit these hours to my extended health? (Canada)
Yes, if you are in Canada. As we are masters level therapists providing you with 4 therapeutic hours, you will be able to be reimbursed for this time. For those from Canada, Erin will provide you with a receipt with her registration number which you will then be able to submit to your extended health provider for reimbursement.
What if I don't want to do any horseback riding or zip lining?
This is your retreat and all activities are optional. We will have lots of activities planned to help you connect with your inner child. If a restful nature walk, arts and crafts time, or time with your favorite book is what you need, we encourage that as well!
